Renee’ DeLouche is a resident of Lafayette and a proud 1999 Fall graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette College of Liberal Arts with a concentration in Criminal Justice. She started working for the Department of Corrections in 2000, as a Probation & Parole Officer. She worked as a field officer for 16 years, promoted to Supervisor, and in July 2019, she was selected to be the first Reentry Program Manager for Lafayette and surrounding areas. She subsequently promoted to Assistant Director and is currently serving as the Deputy Director for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety Corrections (DPS&C), Division of Probation & Parole.
To feed her hunger for learning she is actively involved in the Louisiana Probation & Parole Association, Louisiana Correctional Association, Association of Women Executives in Corrections, and Southern States Correctional Association. She is also pursuing a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, with an at graduation date of Spring 2023.
